Murder on a rainy day

This cinematic short film was independently created and rendered by Yuxin in Unreal Engine 5.

Set in a cyberpunk city on a rainy night, the film unfolds a mysterious murder through atmospheric lighting, cinematic composition, and environmental storytelling. Yuxin led the entire production from concept to final delivery, including environment creation, scene building, lighting, camera work, rendering, and post-production.

Fracture on the Third Floor

This interactive cinematic game was independently created by Yuxin using Creator Studio through an end-to-end AI creative workflow.

Set between present-day steampunk New York and 1663 Dutch colonial New Amsterdam, players follow Zhi, a scholar who discovers a mysterious mirror that opens a gateway to the past. Each journey through the mirror presents new choices that shape the narrative and lead to multiple outcomes. Yuxin independently developed the entire project from concept to final delivery, including story development, branching narrative design, AI-generated visuals, interactive experience design, and final production.

Athena: Women, Wisdom, and Global Governance

This Unity-based interactive exhibition was developed as a collaborative project, reimagining Athena as a contemporary symbol of women’s leadership in global governance.

Combining AI-generated visuals, interactive gameplay, and immersive installation, the project explores gender equality, peacebuilding, and climate action through participatory storytelling. As part of the creative team, Yuxin developed the virtual environments and interactive scenes in Unity and used Runway to generate selected AI video sequences integrated into the experience.

This game trailer was independently created by Yuxin in Unreal Engine 5.

She developed the game environments and narrative sequence, designed both daytime and nighttime lighting and atmosphere, and produced cinematic camera sequences to showcase the game world and story. Yuxin handled the entire process from scene development and lighting to cinematography and final rendering.

Firefly Forest

This first-person exploration game was independently created by Yuxin in Unreal Engine 5.

Guided by a glowing firefly, players explore a mysterious forest, interact with mythical creatures, uncover hidden paths, and experience multiple endings shaped by their choices. Yuxin independently developed the project from concept to final delivery, including environment creation, level design, interactive gameplay, and Niagara particle effects in Unreal Engine 5.

Motion Capture for the Virtual Production Short Film 《DIVA》

This virtual production short film was created as a collaborative team project. Yuxin led the character animation and motion capture workflow, operating a full-body motion capture system to capture actors’ dance performances, rigging character models in Cinema 4D, and retargeting the captured motion data onto virtual characters in Unreal Engine 5. She also conducted technical tests to validate the character animation and real-time production pipeline. During filming, Yuxin served as the VP Supervisor on set, troubleshooting technical issues and supporting the virtual production workflow throughout the shoot.

Elle: Digital Breathing City

This is a cyberpunk narrative adventure game developed as a collaborative team project. Set in a divided futuristic city, the story follows Elle, a streetwise “Sensory Regulator” who rises from the container-built slums to work inside the luxury residences of the elite.

Yuxin led the narrative development and contributed to the project’s visual development, creating the 3D character design with Tripo AI and Blender, designing and building environments in Unity, and generating AI-assisted concept art and storyboards to establish the game’s world, characters, and visual direction.

This AI short film was developed as a collaborative project for the MIT AI Film Hackathon.

Yuxin led the AI video generation workflow, writing and refining cinematic prompts and using Runway and PixVerse to generate key video sequences. Through iterative prompting and visual experimentation, she translated the story’s surreal ocean world into cohesive cinematic imagery.

DMSPC TALK

This AI-generated video was independently created and designed by Yuxin for the United Nations Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC) as part of the internal “DMSPC TALK” series.

Yuxin led the entire creative process from concept development and scriptwriting to visual direction, motion design, AI video generation using Runway, and final editing.

The Grateful Vixenn

The Grateful Vixenn is an AI short film independently created by Yuxin using Runway.

Set in a collapsing cybernetic world, the film follows a rescued red fox who becomes part machine and battles monstrous mechs to protect humanity. Yuxin handled the entire creative process from story development and visual concept design to AI prompting, video generation, shot iteration, editing, and final delivery.

This AI-generated self-introduction video was independently created by Yuxin using Google Veo 3.

She developed the concept and prompts, generated and refined the video sequences, and completed the final edit to create a cinematic personal introduction.

This promotional video was independently created by Yuxin for the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week volunteer campaign.

She handled the entire production process from live-action filming to editing and AIGC-assisted post-production, using Runway to integrate AI-generated visual elements with real-world footage.

Bridge Network for anti-racism

This promotional video was independently created by Yuxin for the BRIDGE Network, an anti-racism and inclusion initiative within the United Nations Department of Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance (DMSPC).

Yuxin handled the entire creative process from concept development and visual direction to AI video generation, voice synthesis, editing, and final delivery, using Runway and ElevenLabs to produce the campaign video.
